Will the new edition of SoI get a separate entry in PG-HQ?  I hope so as I would like to replay some of the revised scenarios.

Bumping this back up since I just got my copy of the revised 1967: Sword of Israel.

I do recommend a separate entry for this revised edition.  I guess it could be entered with this title: 1967: Sword of Israel (2022 Edition)

I have no idea what the differences are. Is it just scenario tweaking or a major revision?

I don't know the specifics.  yet, I suspect it a bit of both major revisions to minor tweaking from what Mike B. has said.  He mentioned on my blog that one of the scenarios I played was getting a full revision and he was going to give each scenario a full look.

I asked over on APL Support on CSW if Mike B. thinks this warrants a new entry.

Based on Mike's reply there, I have to imagine we would want the 2nd edition listed as a separate game.

Here is what Mike B. replied to me on CSW:

"It's a very extensive revision into almost every scenario. Victory conditions into the same format as recent Panzer Grenadier games (so they flow into the battle game victory conditions), those weird dogleg map configurations axed, orders of battle corrected in some (Jordanian tank allotments, overstrength Israeli formations), Israeli morale toned down, some outright errors fixed, two weak scenarios deleted, flavor text replaced throughout. It most definitely should have a new entry, as should 1940: The Fall of France."

I would say a new and distinct entry is needed.

I'm bumping this back up to reiterate the need for adding the latest edition as a separate entry.

I started Scenario 33 "Latrun" from the new edition and noticed that in the 2013 Edition, it is scenario 33.

The functional problem is that unless Robin or I get a copy, entry will be a very long time coming. I don't recall there being a book only option.

There was a book only option at one point, thats how I got my 2nd edition.
