Saipan 44 scenario 26
I'm doing some solo and came up with questions about Overlooking Radio Road from the Saipan 44 module.

According to Jay's AAR he actually did eight plays of the scenario.  He is occasionally having the Japanese tanks head into heavy jungle.  I believe he means regular jungle because heavy jungle is prohibited to mechanized movement.  Should he have indicated jungle instead?

In fact this is the first I'm aware that like forest there are three levels of jungle in PG.  I have an early edition of Saipan 44.  While I like the artist APL now uses the maps in my module are darker than usual.  I think I can tell most of the time the difference between light jungle and other jungle, but what is the difference between regular jungle and heavy jungle?  Some of the jungle hexes seem to have an even darker background.  Is that the heavy jungle?

Thanks to Jay for his work on this fine module.  I appreciate whatever assistance that can be provided.

RE: Saipan 44 scenario 26
Hi t1M0t8yk!

In Saipan there is only Light Jungle and Jungle. Both type of terrain are addressed on page 2-3 of the scenario book. Mechanized can enter it but at a risk as you will see.

Light Jungle hexes with have a few trees, while Jungle hexes will be denser/thicker. On the back of the scenario book it shows you but incorrectly labels it heavy jungle. It should just say jungle to match the scenario book special rules.
