I was thinking of a PG scenario, as was referenced in the book. Something about the Allies landing in 1944 and overrunning the island.

How about a May? 1940 scenario, Marines capture secret Nazi weather station in Greenland. Actually happened. German resupply ship was captured by Coast Guard neutrality patrol, and Marines captured the base (occupied by just 3 technicians. Translate this into a bases with a company of security forces and you have a battle.

Can't get the edit function to work. The date of the capture was 9-12-1941.

Now we're talking Ty Bomba's designs :-). Of course, more fun would be fighting it out in one of the (4) fully automated weather stations the Nazi's set up in Canada during the war.
