Midway was written from Shattered Sword which is a lot of the newest and best scholarship on the subject. I think the core of the movie is more than sound, but some of the details maybe off, but for the most part I think it is by far the best movie adaptation of the battle.

Would you like to try to play FTF on Skype or PBEM?

I need to do shorter battle scenarios for now given time constraints.

I can do Eastern Fleet, GWAS Mediterranean, or Coral Sea. I own a couple more but no time to dig into them yet. I am partial to GWAS Mediterranean, Battle scenarios will also strain your space least
