As an example, LnLT has over 4,000 forum subscribers and presumably decent sales with all their products available on Vassal and some on TTS. So, we have a game system that has nowhere near the amazing site we have here for interaction, and clearly lacks the breadth and variety of PG, yet it survives quite well. Dr. Mike needs to realize that there are so many games out there, which makes it tough to develop a local critical mass for frequent plays. Online availability creates a much expanded community allowing for worldwide game play. I'm not sure if penury or greed cause this restrictive distribution, but imho it's penny-wise and pound-foolish.
