Crete - possible map or scenario errata
I've noticed that several scenarios (#8 & #37 for example) refer to town hexes on map 98, but there are no town hexes on map 98.

I'm wondering if the map should have included some town hexes,  or if these scenarios are actually supposed to be played on a different map.

Hopefully Matt Ward will weigh in.

Interesting. The image posted here:

Does have town hexes on map #98, but they don't show on the printed map I received with the boxed game.

So I'm guessing this is map errata and those hexes should match the image posted on this web site.

It looks like the maps were printed incorrectly.  Oops.

Heh. I got two games; yes, same problem on both. Did I want two games? Uh, no! Now I know why I got two. APL cant’t give this game away! In addition, there are9 scenarios, not 40 as advertised. But no wargamer is good at math. Rolleyes

OK, anyone heard anything yet? You’d think APL might have something to say, but dear customer, think again. I’ll check Consmworld.

PS: Yup. I am way behind all you guys on this news. PAnd of course, there was no remorse and no real response at this point. I’m obviously a day late and many $$$ shorter here. Again, why do we go for this preorder nonsense?

Board 98 included 3 town hexes in design , development, and testing. Attached is the map I made in HexDraw by copying Mike Perryman's hand drawn map.

There were 40 scenarios in MIke Perryman's submission. It's possible one of the scenarios had to be dropped due to the countersheet limitations or other reason, it happens for almost all projects.

Edit: added map used in development.

APL/Dr. Mike acknowledged over on Consim that the town hexes should be there. He said a downloadable overlay was in the offing.

Are those dispossessed counters present in AOI, AK, or DR? If so, the scenario could become a download. There could also be some DIY counters for people not like me.

P.S. The attachment didn't come through.

True that.
