RE: Beach Landings

In this scenario as you know, the Japanese land on the beaches of Guam in 1941. Those Daihatsu's that could make it to the beach on the first turn did just that; used all 3x MP's to reach the beach. On the second turn The troops unloaded at the cost of 1x MP to both the troops and the barge, just like a truck unloading. Those that remained at sea until the second turn were visited by the YP-17, unsuccessfully (and then the YP-17 received the full attention of the Japanese artillery and air support).
Here's a question for you; why is there no DF bonus for a landing craft coming ashore? Have you ever been in one? That is perhaps the worst time for them as they slog through the surf, then come to a complete halt as the ramp is dropped. They're pretty much sitting ducks at that point. I think there should be a +1 modifier for a stationary landing craft during DF. What are your thoughts?
A good point, I just wanted to keep it simple but if you want to use your modifiers in that scenario go ahead, I see nothing wrong with it. It would effect some of the other scenarios too much however.
