[Setup] Hopeless, But Not Serious - Hugmenot - 03-21-2014

Scenario 01 - Steyr Works

I set up the Austrians in two towns.

Two officers and 5 units in the board 3 town. The idea was to move one unit in each of the town hexes if the Schutzbund advanced quickly. Please note I do not consider 0509 to be a town hex.

Two officers and 3 units in the board 24 town. Just enough to slow down the Schutzbund before the reinforcements arrive should the Schutzbund bypass the first town.

I was satisfied with the setup.

Scenario 02 - Styrian Comrades

I have no clue how to set up the Schutzbund for them to have a chance in this scenario. I found this scenario to heavily favor the Austrians.

Scenario 03 - Pyhrn Pass

I set up the SA in two groups.

Units Only

Full Setup.

The SA won so I can't complain too much about the setup. The HMG did score a number of disruptions on Austrians trying to close in quickly.

Scenario 04 - South of Salzburg

I set up the SA as per my understanding of Matt's suggestion in his AAR. It did not matter, the SA were absolutely no match for the much, much stronger Austrian force.
