Now that AVP is doing D.O.D. games, what unique titles would you order for your 50,000 purchase? I'll start this off with Patagonian Panzers (instead of investing millions of reals in axpatriate German's attempt to turn lead into gold via nuclear fission...THIS IS WHAT PERON ACTUALLY DID!!!!) Peron focuses the Argentinian budget on building up a German refugee led and developed armed force. The game covers 32 actions in the final reckoning war between Argentina and Chile for control of southernmost South America. Game is the same sized as EFDeluxe.

With my second $50,000 I'd have Mike put together a modern PG game of the war of Scottish Independence May 2013-November2013. The Heather War would include SAS actions in the Orkneys, the bitter street fighting of Glagow, and the final battle of the War, the taking of Hollyrood, and the Edinburgh Tatoo massacre that followed.

(I'd rather have 10 Serbs mad at me than one Scotsman.

It is your $50,000 Larry, you have what you want for a PG game! I am sure your will enjoy playing that game in the homeless shelter and you will have your own bunk-bed! Smile

As the only person on this forum currently enjoying design on demand PG games, (all you have to do is design 'em) you're one to talk. :-}

I'd like to see a nice game on the Swamp Fox. But if I had 50k USD burning a hole in my pocket one wargame wouldn't be the first option in mind... Smile

Well Larry, first you need to decipher the form. Remember he did announce this new idea on April 1st. I think $50K is a little high for one of one custom game, don't you?

On the other hand, if you do have a game, there are a couple custom game sites out there.

...I have visions of visions of vicious fighting by shirtless Peronista street-fighter brigades trying to forces passes in the Andes against stout Chilean coca-leave induced resistance....Infantry crawling through tall Patagonian saw-grass and trying not to give away their position by startling the Rheas and Maned Wolves.....who wouldn't pay Mike $50,000 for such a game? And what absolutely wild PG games would you consider comissioning? If I could do a reverse mortgage on my house I'd consider requesting a PG version of Yaquinto's Marine 2000, featureing U.S. and Chinese armor, missle carriers, and jump infantry squaring off on the Moon......

Hope the Cardiologist keeps me on these 3 different blood pressure and heart regulating meds forever.......:-},

My wife Melissa has read this and said "Why do they think a guy who is currently wearing a sixty thousand dollar rose gold limited edition Breitling watch on his wrist would bat an eye at paying 50 grand for a boardgame? I guess they can't see your wrist as you type".

So there!

Larry, I think those meds are going to the head! Smile
