X-Com: Enemy Unknown (2012) - Shad - 11-29-2012
The original X-Com is my favorite game of all time in any format.
My brother bought me the new remake on Steam for Xmas and I dipped my toe in it last night.
So far, so excellent.
Also, this was my first mission - a choice between two different crises:

I ended up chosing America because they were offering 4 scientists as a reward, whereas The Party was only offering $300. I hope my In-Laws don't mind!
Anyone else playing this one?

I guess not! Which is a shame, because it is tons of fun!
Here's another screenshot of my little brother (character edited to be him) trying to sneak up on and tase a sectoid.
Unfortunately, he didn't pass that 70% check and for his efforts was rewarded with a critical stomach wound from the sectoid's plasma pistol, nearly bled to death, and will spend the next 17 days in the infirmary!
