Grog---I'm thinking that your right about Direct Fire...
But looking at a 200meter hex....and the footprint of a vehicle in that hex....there is LOTS of space to shoot at other vehicles beyond the hex...
We're not spraying machine gun fire---these are a few well directed shots....
over 15min....

So----AT Fire would be allowed in circumstances where Direct Fire would be prohibited...

I guess so, just ANOTHER thing to remember. (Sigh.)  Dodgy

At what point does the "remembering" of "exception" rules start becoming an issue that overly detracts from the fun of the hobby? Just sayin'.

It's not really an "exception."  Direct Fire, AT Fire and Bombardment Fire are distinctly different mechanics of combat, each with their own rules, procedures and charts.

That WAS a rhetorical question.
