[FaoF] FoF #33 Truck Count? - Poor Yorek - 08-14-2012

In Scenario #33, a total of 9+3+9 = 21 Trucks + 9 SPW 251's (total of 30) are required as transport for the original force as well as the three reinforcing groups. TheDoctor is short 7 trucks. Anyone else with FoF concur or did he misplace/lose some units? French trucks could be drafted for the purpose, I suppose. Since boxed games are supposedly self-contained, however, I was just curious if this were an example of a shortfall or whether some truck counters perhaps got misplaced.

Thank you.

So it would seem. I wouldn't have noticed on my own. All of my units end up together. Have you got other games with Germans? Would you like a DYI sheet if you don't?

We have plenty of trucks to borrow, but thanks: once, we even put our hands to printing & cutting our own (e.g. "Trucks of Berlin").

As I wrote, my main curiosity was simply whether (or not) APL published a scenario within a boxed game whose counter requirements (or OOB) could not be met by the counters included in that game: or, to put it another way, whether we might have mislaid some counters.

I'll see if I can find out when I get home. My trucks for most of the boxed games are separated.

Yes, both AK and DR have some scenarios that require multiple games, but these are well marked. After that they are suppose to be playable within the game, but this one slipped through. Not surprise, heard this one was a bear to put together.

FoF has 23 truck counters.

On the reverse sides are 4 SK7, 10 SPW251 and 9 wagons - as per Row 220 of my spreadsheet to be found on the thread "Table of PG counters from 7 boxed games and 3 book games", the most recent post being 07-22-2012.

Time to raid another game or use the "trucks of Berlin" pdf from APL's website.

Tim

Thank you. At least we don't need to go sifting through the detritus in the Central Vac canister looking for lost Heer trucks.
