9.2 Off-Board Artillery - Andreas - 08-04-2017
Greetings from Moscow!
I'm playing my first PG game solo to acquaint myself with the rules. The scenario is Bogdanovo form Eastern Front, I'm using 4th edition of the rules.
The only question I got so far: is Off-Board Artillery bombardment fire in addition to any of the side' Action segment or does it take a separate segment of its own?

It uses its own activation, but does not require the spotting leader to be activated. It may also only be combined with other off board artiller.

Also you can only use up to 3 OB modules at a time, combined as one Bombardment attack.

To be explicit, if a scenario gives you OBA 3 x 8, in one turn you could:
- take an 8 strength shot once per activation for three activations
- take a 16 strength shot once, and an 8 strength shot on another activation
- take a 24 strength shot once
