I played this one solitaire as I thought is was a similar scenario to No 2 in West Wall which I was due to play v Vince Hughes later in the year. Here was a chance to experiment and get another scenario under my belt. The GIs were held up in the mud and the entrenchments refused to fall. The strongponts also were stubbon and as American losses grew it was obvious that the Americans were running out of time and troops. Did I learn any lessons from this.
