In scenario 1 the Germans get to cross a river and destroy the Lithuanians. Quite frankly, this scenario is a mirror image of that. Here the Germans, who are terribly undermanned are charged with defending a river line and the Lithuanians must cross and do battle with them. In my play the crossing was accomplished quickly and the Germans were holed up in the towns. Unlike in scenario 1 it was not artillery but rather direct fire that dislodged the German defenders of the bridges leading to the Lithuanian victory.

By the end of the scenario, the Lithuanians had completely mastered the eastern boards and had brought their entire force to bear on the western boards, completely destroying the German forces. The use of engineers in the assaults, rather than losing them in river crossings made a substantial difference.

I felt a certain degree of deja vu, however in comparing it back to scenario 1. I guess turnabout really is fair play. I give it a "3" as it is somewhat repetative, yet you still get to play with those lime green Lithuanians!
